Sikhala blast Hungwe over engagement of soldiers for Zanu PF victory remarks

An MDC-T official Job Sikhala has described the Zanu PF Masvingo senior official Josiah Hungwe as a made man from the village after he said in public that they will engage the army to thwart any efforts of wrestle power from the ruling party.
Sikhala said honestly except if madness and its rehabilitating centres have closed you must know that Josiah Hungwe is the village madman who need a whip.
"He stands before the Zanu PF Inter-district Coordination Committee in Masvingo on a business of preparing for the Zanu PF Conference to be hosted by that city in few days coming telling everyone there that Zanu PF is going to hire the army in 2018 to crush the civilians and opposition supporters as they did in June 2008. He even goes further to tell his delegates that he will summon Maj-Gen Englebert Rugeje to come and kill all opposition supporters like what Hungwe said, did in June 2008," he said.
"This statement by Josiah Hungwe shows that he is an old empty vessel who doesn't know what to say and to who. How can you tell the whole world that Maj-Gen Englebert Rugeje killed the people in June 2008? What are the implications of such a statement on someone whom people thought he was a professional soldier? Hungwe himself did not fight the liberation struggle."
He said rather he was Smith's Goebbels through his broadcasting duties on programmes that he personal ran at the Rhodesia Broadcasting Corporation.
"His announcement at his party's Masvingo Inter-district coordinating committee meeting should alert everyone that Zanu PF is preparing to commit crimes against humanity. They want to deploy the army against civilians. This is an international crime classified at law. It is a norm that is peremptory and no state can abrogate against," he said.
"Hungwe must ask politely his son about the implications of his statement. We are dealing with human life here Josiah. You can't talk as if your life is the only one that is special. We are going to take you head on for calling upon soldiers to come and commit crimes against humanity on civilians. We are holding you responsible for the words that protruded from your own ignorant and perforated mouth. This time we will never allow people of your kind to get away with it.
