Linda Masarira gets engaged

Spokesperson of the Thokozani Khupe led MDC-T Linda Masarira is now out of the dating market after she said 'I do' to an unnamed gentleman.
Posting on social media on Monday Linda said, "Then he came running to me as I was about to check in. He did in style..Ngiyakuthanda Gatsheni wami. There is nothing impossible under the sun. he did it in style at OR Tambo airport."
Social Media users ,particularly those from the opposition and civic society, poured out their congratulatory messages to the political activist.
Linda Masarira is a mother to 5 children. She is the founder of the Zimbabwe Women in Politics Alliance(ZWPA). Masarira is very passionate about fighting for democracy in Zimbabwe.
Masarira is a widow and former employee of the National Railways of Zimbabwe.
In December 2016, at a Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition conference held in Harare, Masarira reportedly said Ndebele people are cowards and cry-babies. The statement statements went viral on social media and news websites which accused her of tribalism. Masarira was prompted to clarify that she only meant that most people from Matabeleland generally (as opposed to Ndebele people specifically) were were reluctant to participate in efforts to confront the system in fighting for their rights.
