Zimbabwean artist made Face of Clere Lotion

Danisa Mike Nyirenda, a Zimbabwean actor, who is currently based in South Africa was recently made Face of Clere Lotion For Men.

The 33-year-old actor said he was elated to grab such an opportunity.

Nyirenda's acting began when he was selected to be a lead actor in a mobile network Cell-C advert and that was his breakthrough, He went on to do TV adverts such as Outsurance, Gaviscon, Old Mutual, Nestle and the recent Clere lotion.

In 2006 he was called to act as an investigator in a South African soapie Generations where he did 57 episodes acting as Captain Neeman, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Karabo, Tau, Khetiwe and the great Mike Mvelase (Khaphela), just to mention a few celebrities. Nyirenda gained experience in the acting industry as a result.

In 2009, he did a still Purity advert which was printed in top SA magazines such as You, Move, Bona and others with his face displayed on billboards.

In 2007 he acted as a paramedic in the film Egoli.

He then went to do Amstel billboard magazine print with a US model. In 2010 he got a chance to rub shoulders with the former rap star MC Hammer when he did Castle Lite TV advert in Rosebank Hotel.

He is currently appearing in four adverts on SABC and ETV channels which are Telkom, Lax, Knorr and Clear active lotions for men.
