ZCDC finance director arrested

Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company finance director Charles Gambe was yesterday arrested by the police for criminal abuse of office after he allegedly bought 1200 bags of cement at Larfarge Cement for personal use using employer's account.
Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest saying Gambe is likely to appear in court today.
"Yes we have picked ZCDC finance director Charles Gambe and charged him with criminal abuse of office allegations. Gambe's allegations are that he bought 1200 bags of cement for personal use at Larfarge Cement Company using the ZCDC account and is likely to appear in court (tomorrow) today," Ass com Nyathi said.
Nyathi said they also picked ZCDC chief executive officer Moris Bekezela Mpofu for interviews but could not divulge the nature of the interview.
