WATCH: New envoys to strengthen trade and bilateral relations

THREE Ambassadors designate who will represent the country in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi and Zambia met President Emmerson Mnangagwa this Monday morning where they were briefed on their mandate, ahead of their departure.
The 3 ambassadors are Charity Charamba who has been deployed to represent Zimbabwe in Zambia, Johannes Tomana, who is going to the DRC and Nancy Saungweme, who is headed for Malawi, paid a courtesy call on President Emmerson Mnangagwa this morning to receive wise counsel and to bid farewell ahead of their departure.
The 16 countries that make up the SADC regional block are working at strengthening regional integration based on trade, sectoral cooperation and coordination to address infrastructure and capacity constraints.
The ambassadors are optimistic that their presence in DRC, Malawi and Zambia will further strengthen trade relations between Zimbabwe and the three SADC countries.
Th 3 diplomats pledged to advance the engagement and re-engagement drive in pursuit of vision 2030.
