Zimbabwe records 107 new Covid-19 cases

Zimbabwe has recorded 107 new Covid -19 cases, the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC), said.
According to the ministry, the country now has 39 959 cases, 1 632 deaths and 37 004 recoveries as at June 13.
The 107 new cases are all local with Masvingo province having 23 cases.
According to the ministry, no deaths were recorded as at the same date.
A total of 1 363 Covid -19 tests were conducted while 12 new recoveries were recorded.
Harare province continues to dominate with 13 347 cumulative cases and 621 deaths.
The national recovery rate now stands at 93 percent.
As of June 13, a total of 967 people received their first vaccine doses bringing total of 693 147 people being vaccinated with the first dose vaccine.
So far 2 693 people have received their second dose bringing the total to 413 911 people.
Kariba, Karoi and Kwekwe which are Covid -19 hotspots have been out under localised lockdown.
