Ndaamuwi Sandu, a local business journalist, has been appointed NewsDay editor with effect from August 1.
He replaces Wisdom Mudzungairi who left ignominiously in January under a cloud of a double-dipping scandal.
Mudzungairi was also AMH editor-in-chief.
He has been replaced in that position by Kholwani Nyathi, who is also The Standard editor.
Prior to this, Sandu was editor of the Business Times.
He has been in and out AMH for some years, having started at the Zimbabwe Independent almost two decades ago.
