Minor (14) drowns while fishing

A 14-year-old boy drowned while fishing at a dam in Bindura on Friday afternoon.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Milton Mundembe said Rauph Nyamunga of Choma village, Chief Musana in Bindura drowned while on a fishing spree with his friends.
It is alleged that the teenagers had gone fishing using mosquito nets at a local dam and the now deceased stepped at the deeper side leading to him drowning.
Police attended the scene while Sub Aqua unit was summoned to retrieve the body which was still under the water at the time of publication.
