Deputy Minister Sacco Leads Three-Day Media Tour of Harare–Beitbridge Highway Project

Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, James Sacco, is leading a three-day media tour of ongoing infrastructure projects along the Harare-Beitbridge Highway and other key developments in Matabeleland South Province.
Sacco is representing Transport Minister Felix Tapiwa Mhona on the tour, which aims to showcase progress and promote transparency in the delivery of national infrastructure.
The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) announced the initiative via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
"The tour is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to ensure transparency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement in the delivery of national infrastructure," ZINARA posted.
The delegation includes the Secretary for Transport and Infrastructural Development, Engineer J.P. Makumbe, alongside officials from ZINARA, the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, the Rural Infrastructure Development Agency (RIDA), and representatives from Masvingo Province.
The tour is covering major works in Masvingo Urban, active construction sites along the Harare–Beitbridge Highway, and infrastructure development projects in Matabeleland South.
"Initiatives such as this one underline the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development's commitment towards the realisation of Vision 2030 through delivery of a safe, efficient, and world-class road infrastructure for all Zimbabweans," ZINARA added.
