Police deployment not targeted at Tendai Biti

Legal representatives for Tendai Biti Law have issued a public statement addressing recent reports of a police presence at the firm's offices in Milton Park, Harare, on 15 November 2025.
The law firm, represented by Mr. Jeremiah Bamu, confirmed that the deployment of multiple police officers in the area was part of routine law enforcement duties and was not specifically targeting Tendai Biti, the firm, its staff, or partners.
According to the statement, the police reassured the firm that neither Mr. Biti, the law firm, nor any of its employees are subjects of any ongoing investigations. The firm also noted that it has pledged full cooperation with law enforcement if required through proper channels.
"The police confirmed that our clients are not wanted in connection with any matter," the statement said, emphasizing that the firm's staff and partners remain law-abiding citizens ready to engage with authorities as needed.
