Spate of robbery suspects nabbed in Chegutu

Police in Chegutu have arrested two men in connection with a spate of robbery cases committed in different parts of the district.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police announced the arrests via their X account.
“The ZRP confirms the arrest of Kudakwashe Matizandima (27) and Perfect Isaac (18) in connection with a spate of robbery cases which occurred at Maridadi Farm and Cigaro Farm, Chegutu, between 1 and 15 January, where cash, a pellet gun and cellphones were stolen,” police said.
“On 15 January, police from ZRP Chegutu arrested the suspects after receiving information linking them to the robbery cases.”
Police added that the arrest led to the recovery of the stolen pellet gun.
“The other suspects, identified as Terrence, King, Munyaradzi and Edson, are on the run,” police said.
