Head robbed of O-Level results

A headmaster at Chikwere Secondary School in Odzi lost Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) Ordinary Level results slips following a robbery in Dangamvura, Mutare, on Monday evening.
Tizai Gwazhi (49) had reportedly just collected the results from the Zimsec offices in Mutare before stopping at a bar in the high-density suburb for some drinks.
According to information gathered, Gwazhi was attacked by two assailants while walking to a friend's home after leaving the bar. During the attack, the suspects allegedly robbed him of the Zimsec O-Level results slips and his cellphone.
The incident has raised concern among parents and school authorities, given the importance of the examination results to the affected candidates.
Police are understood to be investigating the matter, and members of the public with information that may assist in the recovery of the stolen documents or the arrest of the suspects have been urged to report to the nearest police station.
