Gold Mafia prophet Angel praises Tagwirei

Spirit Embassy leader Uebert Angel, who was implicated in the Al Jazeera‑exposed Gold Mafia scandal, has publicly praised controversial businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei, describing him as “genuine, generous and wise”.
Angel made the remarks on his X (formerly Twitter) account, posting a message accompanied by a photo of himself with Tagwirei.
“Standing with Dr Tagwirei, one of the most accomplished businessmen of our time, is an experience that leaves an indelible impression. To see him, to hear him speak, and to glimpse even a fragment of his journey is to witness the extraordinary depth of his character. His life is a testament to the enduring power of integrity, faith and vision — both in business and in life,” Angel wrote.
He added that Tagwirei had repeatedly shown “a genuinely Christian heart”, saying his wisdom and generosity had shaped his own journey.
“Though I walk as a prophet, I can testify without hesitation to the love he carries and the transformative impact he has on those around him,” Angel said.
He claimed Tagwirei had taught him “the art of forgiving the seemingly unforgivable”, adding that the businessman had drawn apologies from people who had previously misjudged him.
“In every corridor, in every space where tension might reign, he is a source of peace. His platform has consistently served as a bridge for others to grow, to rise and to flourish,” he said.
Angel also praised Tagwirei’s respect for prophetic ministry.
