3 seriously injured in head-on collision along Airport Road

THREE people were seriously injured on Friday morning when two vehicles collided head-on along Airport Road in Bulawayo.
The Bulawayo Fire Brigade attended the scene to rescue one of the passengers who was trapped in the wreckage.
Chief fire officer Mhlangano Moyo confirmed the incident.
"The accident occurred on Friday morning along Airport Road when two private motor vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.
"One person who was trapped in one of the vehicles was extricated by a fire brigade crew. The injured persons were taken to hospital," he said.
The cause of the accident had not yet been established by the time of going to print.
