A 40‑year‑old man from Figtree has appeared before the Plumtree Magistrates’ Court after he allegedly stole two cattle and sold them without the required documents.

Limukan Nkomo appeared before magistrate Busani Sibanda. He was represented by Bulawayo lawyer Joshua Nembaware of T Hara and Partners and was granted US$100 bail.

The State, led by Ruth Ncube, alleged that on 24 June, Nkomo stole two cattle valued at US$1 021.33 and later sold them to customers without the necessary paperwork.

Police investigated the matter and subsequently arrested Nkomo.

This case adds to ongoing discussions around stock‑theft prevention and livestock documentation compliance.
