A CROSS-BORDER truck driver returned home after months on the road only to discover that his wife of 14 years had moved out with their youngest child and remarried another man.
Zimbabwean
Felix, popularly known as Boss Fidza, had travelled through the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa and Tanzania before returning home, where his 12-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter broke the news to him.

According to reports, Felix was left confused and heartbroken by the revelation and subsequently travelled to Buhera, his wife's home area, to establish what had happened.

On arrival, he reportedly approached his wife's mother, uncle and siblings, who confirmed that she had started a new marriage with a man identified as Mukanya.

The family reportedly told Felix that the couple had lived together for 14 years without him paying roora, while his wife had also struggled with loneliness because of his prolonged periods away from home as a cross-border trucker.

The situation took another painful turn when Felix allegedly discovered that his wife had taken their savings when she left.

The money, reportedly amounting to US$5,600 and R13,000, had been saved during their years together.

Felix was left devastated, facing the breakdown of his marriage, the disruption of his family life and the loss of a significant portion of their savings.

The circumstances surrounding the separation, including the couple's financial arrangements and the wife's decision to remarry, remain a deeply personal family matter.
