Incest case spills to court

THE case of a policewoman, who allegedly had an incestuous relationship with her cousin, has spilled to court with the husband claiming to have seen the two pants down.
Narrating his ordeal in court, Walter Darangwa said he is a bitter man after he caught his wife Loice Nyambayo red handed with her cousin Ngoni Nyambayo.
This came to light at Chitungwiza magistrate court where Walter was pressing incest charges against the two, who were pleading not guilty.
Chitungwiza magistrate Blessing Murwisi deferred the matter to August 23 for cross examination of the complainant.
"I was so heartbroken, I heard sexual sounds coming out of our matrimonial bedroom.
"I then went to the door and opened it since she forgot to lock, as I entered I found both of them undressed engaging in sex…
"I wanted to attack Ngoni but I failed because Loice restrained me from attacking him. She held my hand and Ngoni escaped from our bedroom," said Walter.
Apart from this incident, Walter told the court that on various occasions he had seen their "sex cloth" wet.
"In another incident, I saw a paper which had sperms in our main bedroom.
"I just took the paper and placed it on our bed for her to know that I had seen it.
"I started suspecting something was going on when I saw them sitting together on our sofa; Ngoni was inserting his finger in my wife's private parts," he said.
Through their lawyers, the accused told the court that Walter was fabricating the matter because he did not want Ngoni to reside at the house.
"It is impossible to believe that you actually saw another man holding your wife's private parts and you did not retaliate.
"It is also impossible to believe that you saw your wife engaging in sex with another man and you chose not to assault her or the man she was engaging in sex with.
"I put it to you that you were only trying to fix both the accused because from the first time you were not happy with Ngoni's stay at your premises," said the lawyer.
Edmund Ndambakuwa represented the State.
