Let's revisit the level of fraud and deception that went on in church and where church is today. The names of offerings collected with the disguise of building the church.
1. Leopard Rock. Money was collected to buy this place but after contributions were done money disappeared and there was a lame excuse given to the gullible followers
2. Offering 2420 which meant 24 million by year 2000. Kuvheya was made to draw this nice building which was hung up ku centre for all to see and be encouraged to give. People sacrificed their hard earned money but nothing was built.
3. Water world . Money was collected only to discover later that they overtook the company running that place. So FOG is like a management company of water world period
4. Glen Forest. Money was pledged to buy that place including partitioning the place so people can buy stands. Many people paid for that but Alas nothing materialised
5. Bethel Mission. People were leaving jobs to sacrifice their skills
6. Building brigade. Some people lost their houses. People would remortgage houses or take loans to pay FOG then the people with building skills would donate their building skills to build houses for free. Some people lost bank loans and the lucky ones for example close people and relatives had sub standard houses built for them.
7. Total onslaught. This was an offering where people gave 100% of their salaries for 3 months or 6 months. For those months they were encouraged to live by faith and not asking for help.
8. Commonwealth offering. This was given until Zimbabwe was out of the Commonwealth. Only then they realised they had to change tactics
