Mnangagwa will sink Zimbabwe
08 Sep 2023 at 13:23hrs | Views
Zanu PF has obliterated all forms of civilisation in Zimbabwe. The country is now in a state of perpetual decay and its hyper inflationary economy is a standing joke to the rest of world.
What were once picturesque clean cities and scenic towns have all been turned into unrecognisable dormant and unpleasant semi-urban centres. The government's mismanagement of the economy, co-occurring with excessive corruption and free looting have characterised Zimbabwe since the transition from white minority rule. At the centre of this ongoing decay was former president Robert Mugabe and now the incumbent Emmerson Mnangagwa. Both Mnangagwa and Mugabe's governments failed at the minimum, to maintain the civilisations established by former white led governments.
Mnangagwa lacks the qualfiedness and efficiency of a national leader. He does not have the chutzpah to lead a country from economic doldrums. Mnangagwa lacks the glamour and magnetism that lures international visitors, statesmen, investors, and donors. In fact, he is rather pedestrian and more of a sleeping tablet. Zimbabwe needs a vibrant, sagacious, erudite, impressive, and visionary leader who will charm the world and inspire the nation towards rebuilding and modernisation. Mnangagwa's only qualifying criteria as a national leader is that he went to war, and of course with Chinamasa and Mutsvangwa, but that is a tale told by fools, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
