Asiagate architect accuses referee of being a Bosso fan
15 Nov 2013 at 11:19hrs | Views
Disgraced former Warriors assistant coach & Asiagate architect, Robson Sharuko has accused referee Bekezela Makeka of match-fixing & of being Bosso fan.
Sharuko, who now thrives on glorifying Dynamos to try and find relevance again lambasted Makeka, calling him 'Lord of Barbourfields' & a `Bosso protector`
He wrote "REFEREE Bekezela Makeka could have a huge influence in the destiny of this year's Premiership title race, whether by design or default, after being caught at the centre of TWO controversial episodes at Barbourfields, which benefited Highlanders on BOTH occasions.
For Makeka to be found at the centre of two BIG refereeing calls, both coming at the same stadium and both in favour of the home side, blows away the immunity that he might cling to in pleading that he is impartial when it comes to matches involving Bosso.
It also gives ammunition to claims by those who believe that Makeka has turned into the referee that those who make appointments now turn to, when they feel Bosso's interests need to be protected"
Readers of the article have not been hoodwinked by Sharuko & some had this to say:
"This is a sensational piece of writing whose aim is to arouse emotions of hate and anger directed at the poor oldman and Highlanders in particular. Whilst Sharuko is entitled to his opinions,we are aware of his exploits in the Asiagate saga. We are also aware that he has turned the sports section in herald to a Dynamos section. His reporting and analysis of soccer is centred on glorifying Dynamos at all costs. It therefore does not surprise us that Sharuko, out of all the interested parties he is the one wailing the loudest."
"Mr Rob you should be impartial as a journalist, Highlanders drew with dynamos through a boob by Matemera, Highlanders lost to caps through an offside, we never complained now that Bosso is in command you start re winding the hands of time ,scrutinising all the outcomes to buy your arguments"
