The game between Shabanie and Caps United has been abandoned. Zhuwawo scored from an offside position and Thomas Kusosa rightly flagged him but Caps United fans who where housed behind him started pelting him with missiles. One of the missiles hit him above the eye causing bleeding.
He was rushed to the safety of the changing rooms.
A source indicated that the assistant referee complained that the eye injury had affected his vision while his fellow referees feared for their lives if they were to return to the pitch.
