Kwese TV bags advertising rights for World Cup 2018

Kwese TV revealed that they have agreed advertising deals with major brands for the FIFA World Cup 2018. Along with that agreement, the company has sub-licensed its rights to the football tournament to over 35 sub-Saharan broadcasters.
Kwese TV has the exclusivity over the free-to-air and non-exclusive pay-tv broadcast rights to the World Cup in sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa. The advertising partners include Coca Cola, Adidas, SoKlin, Total, Opera News, PZ Cussons, Nokia, and Nigerian Breweries.
Moreover, Kwesé TV is also working in closed collaboration with the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) to relay the tournament to its 44 TV broadcasters. Thus, enabling Kwesé TV to reach an approximate 100 million viewers in Nigeria.
In order to enhance its coverage of this tournament, Kwesé TV has also installed studio facilities in association with ESPN in Russia.
