Bruce Kangwa boosts Highlanders

Highlanders staggering debt has been slightly reduced after former player Bruce Kangwa wrote off $5 000 he is owed.
Kangwa was recently snatched by Tanzanian club Azam.
Chief executive officer Ndumiso Gumede disclosed the gesture on Thursday.
"We really appreciate the gesture by Bruce to write off the monies that we owed him. He indicated to us that Highlanders has done so much for him and he would not want to aggravate the financial situation at the club by demanding to be paid the money" he said.
"This is the kind of appreciation we would like to see from Highlanders sons who have the team at heart even as the club is going through a difficult financial situation,".
Recently, Highlanders officials said the faced imminent anytime due to staggering debt which is close to $1 million.
"We are approaching probably the $1 million mark in terms of our debt but the attitude of our members is that we the administrators are there to deal with the debt" club board chairman Mgcini Nkolomi is quoted saying
