Muvhango star Marang Phala visits Prophet Sovi's church

South Africa's top soapie Muvhango's actress Marang Phala made a surprise visit at Imperial City Church on Sunday 21 July to join the saints for a special Prophetic Service hosted by church leader Prophet Isaiah Brian Sovi who recently returned from Uganda.

Phala (real name Sharon Seno) is one of the VIPs who are visiting the fast growing church to experience the touch of God and partake upon the grace at Imperial City Church.

The celebrated actress is a born again Christian who is no stranger to the Imperial City Church. She began attending church programs when she was still in Botswana. During one of her interactions within church programs Prophet Sovi declared a prophetic word that made her land the slot at the popular soapie.

The Botswana born actress is a former model who made it to the Top 5 in the Miss Botswana beauty pageant.




Phala who acts as KK's girlfriend in Muvhango also plays the role of James Motsamai's protégé.

Reporting on Phala recently, Botswana's premier celebrity magazine Tswalebs   said, "Many fans of the SABC 2 drama fell in love with Sharon the moment she appeared on the show as they could not resist her beauty and her charming articulation of the Setswana Language."
 
The popular soapie Muvhango first hit the South African screen in 1997 and has grown to attract a viewership of more than 5 million people.
