Pastor Joseph Tivafire warms up to 11th album launch

Renowned gospel musician, Joseph Tivafire is warming up to release and launch his eleventh album titled Takachengetwa this Saturday in Harare.
The Mushandiriwashe founding couple told this publication during a pre-launch interview that all is set for the grand launch which will also see several artists coming on board to support the event.
"We will be launching this ten-track album on Saturday while supported by several gospel artists, though the launch will also feature some fellow musicians from other genres," Pastor Joseph Tivafire said.
"We have been running around to make sure that fans will be recipients of refined music which bridge the gaps between poverty, prosperity and precedence," Tivafire added.
"Gospel music gives courage, it act as counseling mechanism for societal disequilibriums, unifying and advocacy agent amongst audiences," he added.
"Gospel music both evoke and revoke memories. It is stimulus for community behavioural attitudes, narratives and changes," Tivafire said.
Meanwhile, the couple (Joseph Tivafire and wife) extended gratitude to the St John Apostolic Church of the Whole World's leadership for supporting this album again during the ongoing pre-launch resource mobilisation activities.
"We really appreciate the church and its entire leadership for supporting us during the course of pre-launch resource mobilisation process which is the most critical part when an artist prepares for a comprehensive album," Tivafire said.
Takachengetwa album will be carrying ten tracks including Tose Taungana featuring Dispatch, Mwari Wakanaka, Anodikanwa, Ndisava Mutadzi, Dombo Rakanyorwa, Judas Wakademba, Munhu Munhu, Tiripamwe Tose, Gombo and Tikudze Vabereki.
Several gospel artists including Mambo Dhuterere, Trymore Bande, Samson Tavengwa, Pastor Norest Matende, Bethany Pasinawako Ngolomi, Izodzo Choral Group, Followers of Christ group, Dispatch and Pastor Vhengere (among other gospel artists) are expected to perform during the launch.
