Award-winning Zim dancehall sensation Soul Jah Love has swallowed his pride and issued an apology to fans for his alleged instigation of violence at the Sting 2014 dancehall show at City Sports Centre in Harare last Saturday.
Soul Jah love did not categorically acknowledge his involvement in the melee, but his apology renders him liable.
He wished a speedy recovery to all those who were injured in the skirmishes.
"I would like to apologise for what happened at the Sting 2014 cup clash and I hope all those who were injured get well soon.
"I pray such incidents won't happen again," he said.
He was performing at Dandaro Inn on Wednesday night and his set was punctuated with fervent apologies.
His compatriot Seh Calaz was meant to share the stage with him at Dandaro Inn but he advised the promoter that he was suffering from an eye ailment as a result of an allergy.
He even posted pictures of his swollen eyes as proof of his no-show.
Seh Calaz and Soul Jah Love are alleged to be the chief culprits at the Sting 2014 violence that left several revellers injured.
Their near fist fight had a ripple effect as their loyalists were at each other's throats, compelling police to fire teargas and this caused chaos as revelers tried to escape from the tear smoke.
Meanwhile, Soul Jah Love shared the stage with Progress Chipfumo at Dandaro Inn and they gelled well as Soul Jah Love delivered a near flawless free style rhyme.
The gig was organised by Partson Chipaz Chimboza of Chipaz Promotions and it attracted a decent crowd for a mid-week function.
