ZIMBABWE'S male representative in Africa's premier reality show, Big Brother Africa The Chase, Munyaradzi Hakeem Mandaza, is expected in the country today.
The Chitungwiza hunk was evicted from the house after a five-week stay on Sunday together with Malawi's Fatima. Liz Dziva, MultiChoice Zimbabwe public relations manager, said Hakeem was expected in the country at midday today.
"So Hakeem is out of the game, well, he represented Zimbabwe very well and we are very proud of him.
"Hakeem returns home this Wednesday at 12.20. Let's spread the word and get all his fans to give him a warm Zimbabwean welcome," said Dziva.
The eviction came just a few days after the Chitungwiza model had won Head of House role and also taken part in a mock wedding with his Zambian lover, Cleo.
Over the past few weeks the Diamond housemate has found himself becoming a regular on the nominations list and he managed to scrape through over and over again.
The Zim hulk, as he was affectionately known by fellow housemates, came in as a stronger contender but due to his arrogance and dislike for Pokello he failed to get the Zimbabwean vote last week.
Some have blamed Hakeem's unexpected exit from the chase to lack of patriotism as he showed his dislike for fellow country mate Pokello.
In one of the diary sessions last week, Hakeem put his dislike for Pokello in bold.
"We have never and will never be friends, she's from uptown and I am from downtown," he said to Biggie.
The game continues with 16 housemates, 46 days and eight countries left in The Chase for the $300 000 prize money.
