EVICTED Zimbabwean Big Brother Africa (BBA) The Chase housemate Hakeem Mandaza is in the running for a holiday package valued at $10 000 which will be given to housemates who showed the best act of romance.
The Chase grand finale, which is on this Sunday, will not only reveal the ultimate winner of the $300 000, but the winner of the Most Romantic Gesture.
Over the past weeks, people voted for the week's Most Romantic Gesture and Hakeem had three nominations.
The finalists were housemates, Hakeem for asking Cleo on a date; his gifts to Cleo and his real marriage proposal, Koketso for her strawberries and cream and Elikem's breakfast in bed for Pokello.
The Most Romantic Gesture winner will win a five-night all-expenses paid stay in a luxury room at the Sarova White Sands Hotel in Mombasa, Kenya, with anyone they choose to take.
They will also receive two return air tickets on Rwanda Air as well as spending money.
During Sunday's eviction show which also served as a confirmation of seats at the finale for the remaining housemates, South Africa's Angelo and Ethiopia's Bimp were evicted from the game.
Dillish, who was also up for eviction with them, was saved by Africa and secured a seat at the finale.
After a dramatic three months in the BBA houses, the Rubies and Diamonds, five housemates, Elikem (Ghana), Dillish (Namibia), Cleo (Zambia), Melvin and Beverly (Nigeria) have made it to the last and final week of BBA and each stand a chance of winning the ultimate prize.
Elikem exclaimed: "Top five, thank you Lord Jesus, thank you Africa, thank you Big Brother," while Dillish said: "Thank you Africa for saving me for five times. It's only Africa love. I have never been saved by a housemate and I have never been Head of House so I could never save myself."
Meanwhile, Pokello has urged people to vote for her man Elikem to win the show.
Zimbabweans have this year rallied behind Elikem each time he had been put on the chopping block because of his association with Pokello. It remains to be seen who will walk away richer and famous on Sunday.
