Former beauty queen, Lizelle Tabane, was ordered by her fiancee Mamelodi Sundowns' Teko Modise to quit her job and and now the North West socialite is a full-time housewife.
Sunday Sun reported that Teko gave Lizelle an ultimatum that if she wanted to save their union, she had to quit her job at a top financial company in Sandton.
This came after rumours that she was allegedly having an affair with her boss.
Sunday Sun reported that after Teko found out about the alleged affair he demanded his R20 000 lobola back.
Friends of the couple said Lizelle's life currently revolves around cooking, cleaning and gym.
"At least now he knows she's at home and won't have time to do suspicious things," the friend added.
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder paid lobola for Lizelle late last year. They briefly broke up and later reconciled.
Friends say they are engaged and planning their white wedding.
"But Lizelle is bored," said a Dailysun source.
Sunday Sun understands that Modise felt that the conditions were best for their reconciliation as she had more time to do silly things when he was busy at work.
The friends alleges that the formal union will not materialise any time soon as the two are still finding their feet.
"They are still working on their issues, but Lizelle is not happy about her situation. She is bored and does'nt like the idea of living a programmed life, like Gym, cooking and cleaning," said the source.
When contacted this week, Lizelle refused to comment. All she could say was "I wont tell why I quit. Why do you want to know why I quit my job. Sorry No comment," she said before she hung up the phone.
A senior manager at Alexander Forbes confirmed that Lizelle has left and is no longer the employee of the company.
"I'm sorry to inform you that she is no longer an employee of Alexander Forbes," he said.
Teko Modise referred all enquries to his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane who described the matter as a domestic issue which Teko might not comment on.
"That is a domestic issue, but I doubt if he will respond to you. And why do you come up with this stuff when he has started to pick up a good form?" he asked.
