Eveline High School pupils are said to be deeply engaged in risky sexually behaviour in Bulawayo that exposes them to HIV, it has been learnt.
This comes amid reports that three townships in Bulawayo have been singled out as leading places with youths who are HIV positive.
Magwegwe, Nkulumane suburbs and Robert Sinyoka Village are the places according to National Aids Council (Nac) Bulawayo provincial coordinator Sinatra Nyathi.
Nyathi said three areas presented the most risk to young women in the city.
Nyathi said the Eveline has launched a Determined, Resilient, Empowered, Aids free, Mentored and Safe Women (Dreams) to bring awareness on risky behaviour.
Dreams aims to reduce the number of new infections among adolescents by 40 percent in 2017.
"We decided to take charge of our lives and bring an end to bad reports about Eveline pupils who are known for engaging in all sorts of sexual activities in Bulawayo" she said.
She said available data show that adolescents drive most HIV new infections in the country.
