The city of Bulawayo is mourning the loss of former Councillor Joyce Ndlovu, a dedicated public servant who left an indelible mark on the community. Deputy Mayor Edwin Ndlovu, who served as the Chief Mourner at her burial, paid tribute to her remarkable contributions.

"The city of Bulawayo mourns the passing on of former Councillor Joyce Ndlovu," said Deputy Mayor Ndlovu in the sidelines of the funeral service held at McDonald's Hall. "We acknowledge the significant role she played during her time in council, where she was a member of three committees: Future Water and Water Action Committee, Environmental and Engineering Committee, and Health, Housing and Education Committee"

Councillor Ndlovu was remembered for her passionate and progressive approach to debating, earning her the respect and admiration of her peers. Her dedication to serving the community and her tireless efforts to drive positive change will be deeply missed.

As the city comes together to bid farewell to this remarkable individual, her legacy will continue to inspire and motivate others to follow in her footsteps. The people of Bulawayo will remember Councillor Joyce Ndlovu for her selfless service, her unwavering commitment to the community, and her unshakeable optimism. The service was attended by former Mayor Solomon Mguni, former Deputy Mayor Mlandu Ncube and Nkulumane Member of Parliament Desire Moyo who donated PA system for the service to be successfully held. Other CCC notable figures present included Amos Chibaya and Ostallos Siziba.
