Mbalekwa chickens out of Chiwundura by-elections

ZANU PF's Pearson Mbalekwa has withdrawn his candidature for the Chiwundura by-elections hours after winning primary polls.
Mbalekwa cited personal reasons for his shock move.
Brown Ndlovu who came second will now be the Zanu-PF candidate.
The Nomination Court is set to sit on Friday next week to receive the nomination of candidates at the Magistrate's Court in Gweru.
President Robert Mugabe has since declared 15 July as the by-election date.
The Chiwundura seat fell vacant following the death of Kizito Chivamba who died after a short illness last month.
