10 people feared dead in Zimbabwe mine shaft collapse

At least 10 people are feared dead in a horrific shaft collapse at Masasa mine in Mazowe yesterday.
Sources privy to the development allege that eight men and two women all artisanal miners (Amakorokoza\ Gweja) were trapped in the collapsed shaft.
"Ten people are feared dead when a shaft they were using collapsed.
"Masasa mine is running around trying to retrieve the bodies of the deceased. We hope by today they will be done," said the source.
Masasa mine is very close to President Robert Mugabe's Gushungo dairy farm.
Illegal mining is prevalent in Mazowe.
