A political commentator Pedzisai Ruhanya has said the slow pace of voter registration process in urban areas shows that it is a deliberate ploy by the ruling government to limit voters numbers in urban centres where its known that opposition party wins.
"Observe carefully the MENU OF ELECTORAL MANIPULATION at play during the voter registration process. What you are observing in towns; the slow registration process is carefully designed and strategically crafted," he said.
"Its a rehearsal of the blitz to come that will be sweeping fast in rural areas and ZANU PF strongholds while urban and opposition strongholds will be frustrated until donkeys have horns. The unorganized civic and opposition response to these shenanigans plays well into the militarized menu of manipulation ahead of 2018."
He said this is a test run of an organised MONUMENTAL FRAUD and a test of civic and opposition VIGILANCE. Its happening without blood spilling; technical FRAUD!
