The Joice Mujuru led National People's Party (NPP) Harare Provincial Youth member Trymore Bisenti has resigned from the party citing several unfair and corrupt practices by the leadership.

Bisenti who was the former Harare Provincial Deputy Secretary for Lands and Agriculture said after thorough consultations with his colleagues in and outside National People's Party he have decided to call it quits.

"I have tried by all means to soldier on under difficult and hash conditions but it seems we are going nowhere because "chinhu chinevene vacho ichi."

I will forever cherish the three years we have been together trying to bring change and make Zimbabwe a better place for future generations," he said.

"You know that Harare South is a Zanu PF stronghold so I do not want to risk my life and my family for nothing because I have since noticed that NPP is a Zanu Pf project that is why your leadership do not want to roll out resources to the people. How can a big party like NPP operate without an office and at zero budget?"

"What I know is that the party received more than $4,5 million for the Bikita by-election but the leadership shared it among themselves and bought a car for John Mvundura."

He said as for Harare South constituency they no longer have any structure except the MP and Councillor who were imposed by Friday Muleya.

"I also learnt with great shock the resignation of Mr Setfree Mafukidze and Mr Joyinani Mlilo, the latter being my pillar of strength who used stand by me and encouraging me to soldier on," he said.

"Harare South lost hardworking members like Elsie Vambe,Weston Saruwaka and Peter Kaukonde because of Muleya but no action was taken. It has also come to my conclusion that NPP values positions more than general members.Noone has a membership card in NPP so how can we mobilise people? I will always be available as usual but for the time being let me try something."
