Boy (13) kills self over washing powder

A 13-year-old Mushumbi Pools boy drank poison and died after a misunderstanding with his 21-year-old sister over washing powder.
Mashonaland Central Police Spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the sad incident.
"On March 6 around 0600hrs, at Gumbo village, Chief Chitsungo, Howard Kanyepa (13) was reprimanded by his sister Gracious Kanyepa (21) over the washing powder," he said.
This enraged Howard who went to his bedroom hut where he took a bottle of cotton pesticide and went into a nearby bush where he drank the pesticide.
Gracious alerted their father.
A search was conducted and Howard's corpse was found in the nearby bush.
The police are appealing to the public to consult their Public Relations office for free counseling whenever they face challenges, to avoid loss of precious lives.
