Soldier, four robbers arrested after shootout

Zimbabwe National Army member Thulani Maposa (30) and his gang were arrested during a shootout that occurred last night in the Harare CBD.
Maphosa was in the company of Dalubuhle Ndlovhu, Michael Khanyiso, Precious Dube and Meluleki Makhalima when they attempted to commit an armed robbery in Greendale, Harare.
Sources close to Bulawayo24.com revealed that when the gang approached the house dogs started barking and the gang retreated and drove to town.
A tip-off was made to the detectives who followed their car and caught them parked at Glow Petroleum where the shootout took place.
Makhalima was pronounced dead upon arrival at Parirenyatwa Hospital and Ndlovhu, Dube are seriously injured.
Maphosa who is a serving member of ZNA stationed at 9 Signals Bulawayo was arrested and investigations are still in progress.
