Malunga says elections will not resolve Zimbabwe's political legitimacy crisis

Zimbabwean human rights lawyer Siphosami Malunga, who is also Open Society-Africa Director for Programmes, says the just-ended elections will not resolve the country's political legitimacy crisis.

He made these remarks on the eve of the elections, but the legitimacy question lingers on.

Malunga says Zimbabwe is being destroyed by a cabal of parasitic political elites who have now abandoned national interest and public service for self-aggrandisement.
