Charles Chiponda, a Zanu-PF central committee member and chairperson of the fundraising committee, has mentioned that the fundraising committee is actively working to mobilize resources for the event. Notable figures such as businessman Mnothisi Nsingo and musician-turned-politician Sandra Ndebele are part of the fundraising committee.
