Dynamos coach Genesis Mangombe's future at the popular Harare giants was cast into further doubt after suffering defeat against former champions FC Platinum in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Mandava yesterday.
FC Platinum secured all the points with a 61st-minute goal from Wilfred Muvirimi, who finished off a pass from Brian Banda.
This result brought the miners' points tally to 28, just one behind log leaders Manica Diamonds, who edged bottom-placed Hwange 1-0.
On the other hand, Dynamos remained in seventh place with 19 points, following the awarding of a 3-0 scoreline in their abandoned match against Chegutu Pirates, as announced on Friday evening.
Mangombe faced the game amid demonstrations by supporters during their 2-1 win over newcomers Arenel Movers at Rufaro on Thursday.
A section of the Dynamos fans believes they are not progressing under Mangombe, as he only seems to secure victories against newcomers while dropping points against established teams, with FC Platinum being the latest example.
Mangombe suggested that the supporters were hired as part of internal conflicts within the club.
