Chrome miner trapped to death

A Honde Valley man was trapped to death while digging out some chrome ore in Mvurwi recently.
Remember Muranganwa (29) died on the spot after being trapped by Chrome ore he was digging.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the case.
"I can confirm a sudden death case in Mvurwi where a miner was trapped to death while digging ore at Ometh farm, Mvurwi," Chikasha said.
Allegations are that on November 13 the now deceased Muranganwa was digging ore together with his colleague Million Chimunyemba.
Both miners were trapped and Desmond Chimunyemba tried to rescue the two but only managed to rescue Million who escaped unhurt but Muranganwa died on the spot.
A police report was filed and the body was taken to Mvurwi hospital for safe keeping.
