Student teacher's 'murderer' found hanging

A man suspected of murdering his girlfriend, a student teacher at Guinea Fowl High School in Gweru, has been found dead outside the school premises. The discovery came after a manhunt was launched following the death of the victim, Keener Tsanana, on January 25.

According to Midlands provincial police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, preliminary investigations suggest that Tamuka Zivera, the suspected killer, took his own life. Zivera's body was found hanging near the school, a day after Tsanana's body was discovered in her room.

Tsanana, a student teacher, was last seen entering the school premises with Zivera on January 24. Her body was found the following day, prompting authorities to investigate her death. Upon discovering Zivera's belongings inside Tsanana's room, police quickly launched a search for him.

While police are still working to confirm the full details of the case, the apparent suicide of Zivera has raised several questions, and investigations into Tsanana's death continue. Inspector Mahoko assured the public that further inquiries would be carried out to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the events leading up to the tragic death of the young woman and Zivera's subsequent demise.
