6 hrs ago | Views

Leading telecommunications provider Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has announced a scheduled revision of its Voice, Data and SMS bundle prices, set to take effect on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.
In a public notice issued on Monday, the telecoms giant confirmed that while bundle prices will be adjusted, core tariffs will remain unchanged, providing some relief to customers concerned about across-the-board cost increases.
"Econet wishes to advise its valued customers that effective Wednesday, 21 May 2025, Voice, Data and SMS bundle prices will be reviewed," the company said. "Please note that the core tariffs will remain the same."
The move comes amid growing operational costs within the telecoms sector, often influenced by inflationary pressures and foreign currency-related expenses. Though the company did not specify the percentage of the increase, it encouraged subscribers to visit its website for full details.
Customers can access updated information on the revised bundles by visiting www.econet.co.zw/services/bundles.
Econet Wireless remains Zimbabwe's largest mobile network operator, with millions of subscribers nationwide relying on its services for voice communication, internet access, and messaging.
