Brigadier General (Rtd) dies at a local clinic

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has announced the passing of Brigadier General (Retired) Victor Mzheri Mpandasekwa, who died on Tuesday at a local health facility in Harare. He was 75.
In a statement, Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army, Lieutenant General Emmanuel Matatu, confirmed the death of the decorated liberation war veteran, who served the nation with distinction during and after the liberation struggle. The late Brigadier General, whose Chimurenga name was Khetani Khanye, is remembered for his unwavering dedication to national service.
Brig. Gen. (Rtd) Mpandasekwa is survived by four children: Anesu, Ropafadzai, Tinashe, and Khanye. Mourners have gathered at House Number 189, Helensvale, Borrowdale, Harare, while burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
