Chivayo rewards lawyers after custody 'victory'

Businessman Wicknell Chivayo says he has rewarded his legal team with luxury vehicles and cash bonuses following a High Court ruling that granted him access to his children after a protracted divorce battle.

Chivayo revealed that each member of his legal team received a brand-new Range Rover Sport valued at approximately US$250,000, along with cash bonuses of US$50,000.

The businessman credited the court outcome and his lawyers for securing the ruling, describing his reunion with his children as an emotional moment after a lengthy period of separation from his ex-wife, Sonja Madzikanda.

While details of the High Court decision were not immediately available, Chivayo said the judgment marked the end of a difficult chapter and expressed gratitude to his legal team for their role in the case.
