DJ Ollah has moved to reassure Mudododo hitmaker Sugar Sugar that there is no confirmed instruction for him to return the car gifted to him by businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
The clarification follows reports that the musician feared losing the vehicle amid speculation surrounding its ownership.
According to DJ Ollah, Enterprise Car Sale owner Madzibaba Tendai Chipaga has denied claims that Sugar Sugar was ordered to surrender the car, saying the matter remains unresolved as they await the executor to complete the necessary processes.
"We've just contacted Madzibaba Tendai Chipaga, the owner of Enterprise Car Sale. He denied allegations that Sugar Sugar was asked to bring back the vehicle since they're waiting for the executor to finalise everything," Ollah said.
He added that Chipaga suspected someone had taken advantage of the uncertainty to frighten the musician with false information.
Ollah urged Sugar Sugar not to panic, saying there was no confirmed demand for the vehicle to be returned based on the information obtained from Chipaga.
However, the matter remains unresolved, with the parties reportedly waiting for the executor to finalise the outstanding procedures.
The latest clarification seeks to dispel speculation surrounding the gifted vehicle, although the final outcome will depend on the completion of the relevant processes.
