Security guard nabbed for raping woman in her sleep

A SECURITY guard at one of the Avenues flats in Harare has been nabbed on allegations of raping a resident who was asleep.
Leonard Chiwondo, 19, was not asked to plead to the allegations of rape and his case is set to be heard on November 13.
Leonard was granted $50 bail, to report once on Mondays at the police, to continue residing at the address he gave to the court and not to interfere with witnesses in the matter.
Suggestions are that on October 12, the 29-year-old woman arrived at her flat after a beer binge with friends around 2:45am and she saw Leonard manning the gate.
Reports are that the woman then went to her apartment but she fund the door locked and she asked him for a phone but he took her to another guard who guards the next flat.
Indications are that the woman then made her call and she decided to rest in the guard room but she fell asleep.
But taking advantage of her sleep, it is said that Leonard then removed her jeans and raped her. It is said that the woman woke up around 6:30am and she found that her jeans buttons were open and she had sperms on her privates and legs.
Further allegations are that she also had some bruises on her left hand and knee. And it is said that the complainant later met Leonard last Sunday around 9pm whilst she was drunk and she attacked him and her brother-in-law then informed police.
