The Zimbabwe National Healers Association (ZINATHA) has embarked on an exercise to register its members following the increase in cases where individuals have been using the association's name to dupe unsuspecting clients.
ZINATHA has warned individuals who were operating under the guise of the organisation's banner that they risk being arrest.
The organisation's president George Kandiero says they will deal decisively with those that have been using the association's name to enrich themselves.
The association commenced registration of their members last week with the process having kicked off in Harare.
"The registration exercise has unearthed that there are some people that have been using the name of the association to enrich themselves. However, we have decided that the only way to nip this in the bud is to ensure that we deal with all perpetrators and the best way will be to have them arrested," said Kandiero.
Cases where individuals have been taken advantage of unsuspecting Zimbabweans using falsified ZINATHA documents had been on the increase, hence the need to document members.
