Village head bans wearing of non Zanu PF regalia

As the political situation continues to worsen ahead of the 2018 elections, a Muzarabani ward 19 Village head Passmore Mutoti reportedly barred villagers in the ward from wearing any political party regalia that is not from Zanu PF.
This was revealed by Heal Zimbabwe Trust in its report.
"This he announced during a funeral in the area on 18 October 2016. Mutoti went further to state that anyone found guilty of the offence will be forced to relocate to a different district," said the trust.
Also at Maramba Pfungwe ward 6 at a rally held at Mungunguma shopping centre, Zanu PF Member of Parliament for Maramba Pfungwe, Washington Musvaire, reportedly told people that they should contribute $0,50cents each towards the Zanu PF annual conference to be held in Masvingo in December 2016.
"On 17 October 2016, Zanu PF youths started moving in the area collecting the money and threatening those who removed that their names will be removed from the food aid beneficiaries lists.," said the trust.
