Man rapes three goats, two of them die after the act

In a bizarre incident, a man from Clinton farm, Figtree in Matabeland South, was dragged to court after he raped three goats, killing two of them in the process.

The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates Court today, where Brighton Mnkanda (23) appeared before Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware facing bestality charges.

He was remanded in custody to September 12.

The state alleged that from August 15 to September 1, the suspect broke into three different pens and raped three she goats on different occasions.

One complainant tracked Mnkanda's footprints and saw him at his homestead before filing a police report.

The police swiftly arrested the suspect and dragged him to court.
